Adoption, fostering, and rescue support

Helping community cats find safe homes.

Friends of Community Cats connects cats with adopters, foster families, local events, and practical support for responsible community care.

Adopt

See available cats through Petfinder and start the adoption process.

Foster

Give cats and kittens a safe place while they wait for permanent homes.

Donate

Support food, medical care, rescue work, and adoption resources.

Our Mission and Story

Where the cats come from

Many cats come from community colonies and local Utah shelters, often because they are injured, sick, overlooked, or struggling in a shelter environment.

Why fosters matter

Friends of Community Cats does not operate a shelter facility. Cats stay in foster homes while they receive care, recover, socialize, and wait for adoption.

Community impact

The rescue supports spay and neuter education, Trap-Neuter-Return, and practical community care to reduce the number of homeless cats.

How We Help

Medical Treatment

Veterinary care, vaccinations, spay and neuter support, and treatment for cats who arrive sick, injured, or medically fragile.

Shelter Partnerships

Collaboration with local shelters and rescue partners to help cats who need more time, care, or placement options.

Adoption Services

Support matching adoptable cats with loving homes through Petfinder, adoption events, and community outreach.

Trap-Neuter-Return

Community cat support through TNR, food, shelter, trap loans, and education for responsible colony care.
